Sticks n Stones Bistro
The Sticks n Stones Bistro, situated in the Steampacket Hotel, features the biggest woodfired pizza oven on the South Coast. The family friendly environment provides seating for over 100 people and is the perfect stopover for a hearty meal before heading up the Clyde Mountain or before heading further afield for that perfect weekend of camping, skiing or fishing on the coast.
The menu focuses on pub friendly fare and our goal is to continue using only the freshest ingredients and when available, also use our home grown produce (no pre-processed foods used).
The addition of the enormous pizza oven has allowed the Steampacket to add authentic wood fired pizzas to the menu. The use of first class ingredients, all hand prepared, provides a delicious alternative to our other tasty menu options including an array of seafood, steaks, salads and delicious desserts. We often have fresh Clyde River oysters also available.
You can choose to dine either inside or outside and take advantage of the amazing views. We strive to have on offer great food at great prices!
The Sticks n Stones bistro is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week during the High Season (October to April), School Holidays and Public Holiday Weekends:
Lunch between 12:00 - 2:00pm weekdays, 12:00 - 2:30pm weekends and Dinner between 6:00pm - 8:00pm weekdays, 6:00 - 8:30pm weekends.
At all other times:
Lunch between 12:00 - 2:00pm Friday, Saturday & Sunday and Dinner between 6:00pm - 8:00pm Friday & Saturday.
Please note: the pizza oven operates on Fridays and Saturdays or by prior arrangement for group bookings. It will also be in operation during school holidays and on public holidays.
